Ian Siegel

Ian Siegel founded ZipRecruiter in 2010 with a mission to make hiring easier, and now serves as ZipRecruiter’s Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership, ZipRecruiter has transformed into a leading online employment marketplace, revolutionizing the job search industry by enabling companies to post to multiple free job boards with a single submission and vet incoming applicants through simple-to-setup online interviews, creating a truly paperless experience. Siegel's vision has significantly influenced modern recruitment processes, positioning the company at the forefront of the industry.

Siegel has held executive product and technology leadership roles at a number of early-stage to mid-size startups including CitySearch, Stamps.com, Rent.com, and Pictage. He has also served as Director of Technology at Viva Group, Inc. and Chief Product Officer at Mylife.com, Inc. Additionally, Siegel is recognized for his expertise in building high-performance teams and his speaking engagements often provide practical advice on hiring, job market trends, and the impacts of technological innovations on entrepreneurship.

He holds a BA in Sociology from Oberlin College. Outside of his professional endeavors, Siegel enjoys spending quality time at the beach with his family and playing soccer.
