Jason Calacanis

Jason Calacanis is an accomplished Internet entrepreneur, angel investor, author, and podcaster who has made significant footprints in the tech industry. He has invested in more than 300 startups in the past ten years through his fund, LAUNCH, and was Sequoia Capital’s first Scout. Additionally, Calacanis has authored a book titled "Angel: How to Invest in Technology Startups—Timeless Advice from an Angel Investor Who Turned $100,000 into $100,000,000."

Calacanis has co-founded several tech firms, including Weblogs, Inc., a publishing company that was eventually sold to AOL. He also founded the web directory Mahalo and the startup Inside.com.
