Jeff Jarvis

Jeff Jarvis is a prominent figure in the field of digital journalism and media innovation. He is the Leonard Tow Professor of Journalism Innovation and the Director of the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York. Jarvis is known for his role in the development of online news, blogging, and the exploration of new business models for news.

He has created innovative academic programs at CUNY, including degrees in Entrepreneurial Journalism, Social Journalism, and News Innovation and Leadership. Jarvis also founded the News Integrity Initiative and the Quality News Signals Aggregator.
