Jennifer Palmieri

Jennifer Palmieri began her career working for Congressman Leon Panetta, which set the stage for her extensive career in politics. Her experience ranges from serving in the Clinton administration in various roles, such as Special Assistant to White House Chief of Staff Leon Panetta and Deputy White House Press Secretary, to being the National Press Secretary for the 2004 John Edwards presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee in 2002. Furthermore, Palmieri held the position of Senior Vice President of Communications for the Center for American Progress and the President of the Center for American Progress Action Fund.

As White House Director of Communications from 2013 to 2015, Palmieri was an integral part of the Obama administration. She worked closely with key figures such as David Axelrod, Daniel Pfeiffer, and Jennifer Psaki and was involved in the administration's public engagement and intergovernmental affairs. Following her tenure in the White House, Palmieri became the Director of Communications for the Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign, further cementing her authority in the field of political communication.

Transitioning to the realm of media, Palmieri co-hosted the political documentary series "The Circus" on Showtime from 2021 to 2023 and served as a contributing editor to Vanity Fair.
