Jeremy Affeldt

Jeremy Affeldt is a Three-Time World Series Champion, humanitarian, philanthropist, speaker, author, broadcaster, and family man. His 14-year baseball career included playing for the Kansas City Royals, Colorado Rockies, Cincinnati Reds, and he spent his last seven years with the San Francisco Giants. Affeldt was an integral part of the Giants' World Series victories in 2010, 2012, and 2014. He retired from professional baseball on October 4, 2015.

Affeldt is deeply committed to social issues, including efforts to end human trafficking and modern-day slavery. He is also a staunch advocate for feeding the hungry both domestically and internationally. He co-founded Generation Alive, a non-profit organization that focuses on empowering young people to serve others. Additionally, he is the author of "To Stir A Movement: Life, Justice, and Major League Baseball," which discusses his life, career, and advocacy work.

Beyond his humanitarian efforts, Affeldt has transitioned into a role as a television analyst on NBC Bay Area and contributes weekly to KNBR Radio. He continues his affiliation with the San Francisco Giants as a special ambassador. His influence extends into national media, having been featured in advertisements for General Motors Corporation and CarMax in collaboration with Major League Baseball.
