Jim Stovall

Jim Stovall is the Co-Founder and President of the Emmy Award-winning Narrative Television Network (NTN), which makes movies and television accessible for the nation's 13 million blind and visually impaired people and their families. Originally designed for the blind and visually impaired, over 60% of NTN’s nationwide audience consists of fully-sighted individuals who enjoy the programming. Under his leadership, NTN has expanded to include over 1,200 cable systems and broadcast stations, reaching more than 35 million homes in the United States, and is shown in 11 foreign countries.

Stovall hosts the network's talk show, "NTN Showcase," featuring guests like Katharine Hepburn, Jack Lemmon, and Carol Channing. Beyond his role in television, he is a celebrated author, known for books such as "You Don't Have To Be Blind To See," "Success Secrets of Super Achievers," "The Ultimate Gift," and "Ultimate Productivity: A Customized Guide to Success Through Motivation, Communication and Implementation." "The Ultimate Gift" not only garnered success as a book but was also adapted into a major motion picture by 20th Century Fox, starring James Garner and Abigail Breslin.

Stovall’s contributions to media and the disabled community have been widely recognized. He was honored as the 1997 Entrepreneur of the Year by The President's Committee on Equal Opportunity and received an Honorary Doctorate of Law from Oral Roberts University in 2008. His speaking engagements focus on empowerment, attitude, inspiration, motivation, and his experiences as a best-selling author. Notably, he was awarded the International Humanitarian of the Year, an accolade he shares with prominent figures such as Jimmy Carter and Mother Teresa.
