Jo-Wilfried Tsonga

Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is a former professional tennis player known for his powerful serve, athleticism, and charismatic on-court presence. Tsonga turned professional in 2004 and quickly established himself as a formidable force in men's tennis, characterized by his aggressive playing style and remarkable agility. Over his career, Tsonga achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 5, reaching this peak in February 2012. His dynamic playing style and engaging personality made him a fan favorite across the globe.

In his early career, Tsonga won the 2003 US Open junior singles title and was the ATP Newcomer of the Year for 2007. He rose to fame by reaching the 2008 Australian Open final as an unseeded player, defeating four seeded players, including world No. 2 Rafael Nadal, en route. Although he ultimately lost to Novak Djokovic in the final, Tsonga's performance solidified his reputation as a top contender in Grand Slam tournaments. Throughout his career, he accumulated 18 ATP singles titles, including two Masters 1000 titles in Paris (2008) and Toronto (2014).

Tsonga also made significant strides in doubles. He won four ATP doubles titles and demonstrated his versatility and skill in both formats of the game. Tsonga was a key player for the French Davis Cup team, contributing to their victory in 2017.
