At the tender age of seventeen, Joan stepped into life at the Dominican convent in her hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. Eleven years later she left that religious training to become a chemist, then received a Ph.D. in neuroscience and psychology. Her twenty-year tenure as a professor at Tufts University School of Medicine led her to a dynamic crossroads of personal self-discovery. She left academia. Her new found inner knowing ignited the writing of her Cellular Wisdom book series. The Code of Authentic Living: CELLULAR WISDOM is the foundational book in the series which reveals how our bodies model the teachings of our inner wisdom. Joan Kings blending of science and spirituality birthed her speaking and professional coaching business, Beyond Success LLC,in 1998. Today, Joan helps others reach within and express more and more of their who they truly are in their lives and their work. Cellular Wisdom for Women: AN INNER WORK BOOK is also published. Joan is finishing her work with cellular wisdom in the forthcoming title of A Life on Purpose: WISDOM AT WORK . The series will be completed with Cellular Wisdom for Relationships and Cellular Wisdom for Men .
