Jon Macaskill

Jon Macaskill, MMT, is a retired Navy SEAL Commander and now a leadership and mindfulness coach with a focus on improving organizational performance and resilience. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and holds a Master’s degree in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School. With 24 years of experience in dynamic leadership roles, Macaskill has served in Iraq, Afghanistan, off the coast of Somalia, and in Panama.

Currently, Macaskill runs a consulting business that specializes in teaching exceptional leadership skills and mindfulness. His programs are designed to enhance teamwork, communication, creativity, and innovation in the workplace. He uses his extensive military experience to educate on overcoming high-pressure situations through resilience and strong leadership.

In addition to his consulting work, Macaskill serves as the Deputy Executive Director for Veteran’s PATH, a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing meditation and mindfulness to veterans to help them achieve peace, acceptance, transformation, and honor. He has also been recognized for his dedication to veterans and his contributions to initiatives such as Rolling Rememberance. Macaskill and his wife, a civilian Orthopedic Physician Assistant, are proud parents of two small children and currently reside in Chesapeake, Virginia.
