Jordan Reid

Jordan Reid is a lifestyle blogger and author who writes about her fashion, beauty, and life experiences- both good and bad. Reid grew up in New York City and studied neuroscience at Harvard University before moving to Hollywood to become an actress. She was an original co-creator of "It's Always Sunny on TV," the original pilot to the now "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." Her acting career lasted a few years before she turned to blogging. Since 2009, she has written daily about her experiments (and frequent failures) in fashion, beauty, home renovation, parenting, and decor on her blog, Ramshackle Glam.

Reid gets into the nitty-gritty on her blog, writing about her divorce in 2018 from her husband of 10 years and her transition into single motherhood. She writes about her chronic anxiety that she has suffered from for many years and is outspoken about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health issues. She has also written about sexual assault, postpartum depression, and the anorexia she dealt with in her 20s. Reid feels that hiding the darker parts of her life would insinuate that she was ashamed of it, and she isn't.

Ramshackle Glam has been featured in publications including Time Magazine, Cosmopolitan, the New York Observer, The Huffington Post, and Lonny, and has spun off into three web series and six books, with the seventh just put into contract. She also writes for other outlets, such as Newsweek, Romper, and Mashable. As an author, Reid has written multiple titles, including "Ramshackle Glam: THe New Mom's Haphazard Guide to (Almost) Having it All," "Carrying On: Style, Beauty, Decor (and More) for the Nervous New Mom," as well as her activity book series she co-authored with Erin Williams.

Additionally, Reid two seasons of the Meredith Video Studios-produced "Jordan In The House," and has shot and appeared in campagins for companies including Clorox, DKNY, Simple Skincare, Dove, Canada Dry, Nexxus, and SKI-II.
