Joseph G. Buchman, PhD Biography
Dr. Joe Buchman is the Chair of the Libertarian Party of Utah.
In 2008 he ran for the United States House of Representatives as the Libertarian Candidate in Utah’s First District while calling for legislation to protect whistle-blowers and then open Congressional Hearings on corruption UFO/ ET.
Later he served as the Chair of the Libertarian Party’s National Platform Committee, before running as the Libertarian Candidate for the Utah State Senate, during the 2016 election cycle.
Dr. Buchman also served as a key organizer of and Moderator for the Washington DC-based Citizen Hearing on Disclosure.
Buchman has taught MBA programs in Beijing China and Ulaanbaatar Mongolia. Following his service as a tenured professor of marketing at Utah Valley State College (now UVU), he served as a lead course designer and subject matter expert for the University of Chicago’s online MBA programs.
Dr. Buchman holds a PhD from Indiana University’s Media School (1989), a MBA in Finance from Purdue University (1983) and BS in Marketing from Indiana University (1980).
