Julie Gaines is the author of the graphic memoir Minding the Store: A Big Story about a Small Business. The book recounts Gaines' experience of starting a family and starting a family business, Fishs Eddy. She opened the small business with Dave Lenovitz after moving to Manhattan after college.
Gaines attended Syracuse University.
