Kay M. Madati

Kay Madati is the chief commercial officer at FIFA. In this capacity, he is responsible for leading a global, multifaceted, and multinational team that develops and implements the organization’s commercial and business strategies. He also serves as a director of Allspring Global Investments.

Previously, Madati served as the global vice president and head of Content Partnerships at Twitter, Inc., where he led the company’s worldwide efforts in engaging with media and content publishers across various industries and sectors. Before that, Madati was at BET Networks, where he served as the chief digital officer responsible for all aspects of digital, social, and mobile strategy. Madati has also held positions at Facebook, Inc., and at CNN Worldwide as the head of Entertainment Media and vice president of Audience Experience. He began his career at BMW of North America, where he held various positions in sales, operations, and marketing. Madati has extensive experience in managing complex global organizations. He is a founding board member and chairman emeritus of Brooklyn Excelsior and Atlanta Heights Charter Schools. He also serves as a board member of CoachArt and on the Advisory Board of Harvard University’s Hutchins Center for African and African American Research. Madati is an appointed member of the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability for Young Americans and also sits on the board of Wingstop Inc.

Madati earned a bachelor’s degree in American studies with an emphasis in philosophy from Georgetown University and an executive management leadership certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management.
