Ken Ham

Kenneth Ham is an Australian-born Christian fundamentalist, young Earth creationist, and apologist based in the United States. He is the CEO and founder of Answers in Genesis, a creationist apologetics organization that operates the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Ham is also the visionary behind these projects, including the full-size Noah's Ark.

Ham is known for advocating biblical literalism, accepting the Book of Genesis creation narrative as historical fact, and believing that the universe and Earth were created together approximately 6,000 years ago. This stance is in opposition to the scientific consensus, which estimates the Earth to be about 4.5 billion years old and the universe around 13.8 billion years old. His views gained significant attention following his 2014 creation/evolution debate with Bill Nye "the Science Guy," which was watched by an estimated 25 million people.

In addition to his work with Answers in Genesis, Ham hosts the daily radio program "Answers... with Ken Ham," broadcast on over 1,000 stations. He also oversaw the 2020 launch of Answers TV, a video streaming service. Ham's contributions to the church and society have been recognized internationally, earning him six honorary doctorates.
