Larry Foyt

Larry Foyt is a retired NASCAR and IndyCar driver and is the biological grandson and adopted son of A. J. Foyt, and a biological cousin of A. J. Foyt IV.

As president of A.J. Foyt Enterprises, Inc., Foyt manages the day-to-day operations of AJ Foyt Racing, which fields a race team in the Verizon IndyCar Series. During his tenure, he oversaw the team’s expansion from a one-car team to a two-car team which competes in 17 race events annually, including the world famous Indianapolis 500.

Foyt began his professional racing career as a race car driver. He has competed in three Indianapolis 500s and spent four years competing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the Xfinity Series. Foyt was a brand ambassador for Harrah’s Casinos and a national spokesman for the ‘Meals on Wheels’ program for four years.

Larry Foyt and his cousin, A.J. Foyt IV, began Foyt Family Wines due to their passion for fine wines. The family uses the vintages to pay tribute to A.J. Foyt and his incredible racing career. Each wine offering produced is labeled with a number and story that's significant to A.J. Foyt's career, either a car number or a year in which Foyt won an important race. These stories are designed to help people to learn, respect and acknowledge what A.J. Foyt has accomplished and what his name means to American motorsports, the Indy 500 and its fans.
