Lee Sung Jin

Lee Sung Jin is a writer and director celebrated for his unique storytelling and compelling visual style. Born and raised in South Korea, he initially pursued a career in journalism before transitioning to filmmaking.

After completing his education at the Korean Academy of Film Arts, he began his career as an assistant director, quickly advancing to write and direct his own projects. Lee is the creator and showrunner of the Netflix and A24 series "BEEF," starring Ali Wong and Steven Yeun, which boasts a 99% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. He has also contributed to several well-known series, including FX's "Dave," Amazon's "Undone," and HBO's "Silicon Valley." Currently, he is writing "Thunderbolts" for Marvel.
