M.K. Palmore

MK Palmore is a seasoned professional with 22 years of experience in the FBI, ultimately leading the San Francisco Division Cybersecurity Investigative Branch. His expertise spans Cybersecurity, Crisis Management/Response, Domestic & International Terrorism, Public Corruption, Hate Crimes, and Violent Crimes. Currently, he holds the position of Director of the Office of the CISO at Google Cloud, where he provides advisory services on cloud transformation efforts.

After graduating from the Naval Academy, Palmore was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. He then embarked on a distinguished career with the U.S. Federal Government, becoming a Special Agent in the FBI. During his time in the FBI, Palmore led one of the largest cybersecurity investigative teams in the nation, gaining a deep understanding of criminal and national security challenges in the cybersecurity landscape.

In addition to his role at Google Cloud, Palmore serves as the Field Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the Americas for Palo Alto Networks. He is an influential figure in the cybersecurity community and offers his expertise as an adjunct professor in subjects like Leadership, Technology Implementations in Business, and Crisis Management & Response. He has delivered keynote speeches on cybersecurity across numerous national and international platforms. Palmore also engages in thought leadership through various media, discussing topics such as "CISO Leadership: Maximizing Threat Intelligence." Furthermore, he fosters leadership skills through executive coaching and by hosting The Leadership Student Podcast, where he converses with leaders from diverse sectors.
