Mark Divine

Mark Divine, a retired Navy SEAL Commander, spent two decades serving in the United States Navy. During this time, he managed missions in various global locations before retiring with the admirable rank of Commander in 2011. His military experience extended beyond his service years, as in 2007, he established SEALFIT, an academy designed to enhance the competence of Special Operations Forces candidates.

At the same time the SEALFIT protocol was born, Divine co-founded Coronado Brewing Company, built www.NavySEALs.com, the leading website for SEAL gear and information, and launched US Tactical, a government contracting business. He also served as an adjunct professor of leadership at the University of San Diego before the Navy called him up for duty in the Iraq War. In Iraq, Divine noticed that it was not only his military training but that the power of mental toughness, emotional resilience, intuitive leadership, and a healthy spirit were responsible for his breakthrough performance. These skills weren’t solely for combat; they were essential for success in business, relationships, and virtually all aspects of life.

Transitioning his leadership skills to the literary world, Divine is the author of several personal development and leadership books. His works include "Unbeatable Mind," "The Way of the SEAL," "Staring Down the Wolf," and "Uncommon: Simple Principles for an Extraordinary Life." In 2014, he expanded his influence by launching Unbeatable, LLC, a platform aimed at bringing leadership development to the civilian population. Divine has trained elite organizations including Google, Nike, SpaceX, Boeing, Harvard University, The Olympics, YPO, and many others. He also has a podcast titled "The Mark Divine Show," where he and his SEALFIT Coaching team take on guests with subject matters that follow along with Divine's five mountain training path of developing your mental, physical, emotional, intuitive, and Kokoro (heart) self and has been listed as #1 on Health Podcast and #30 overall on iTunes.

Divine's commitment to service is further demonstrated through his philanthropic endeavors. He founded the Courage Foundation in 2017, aiming to raise awareness about veteran suicide. His dedication was evident in his successful completion of 22 million burpees, a feat he undertook to raise funds for the Courage Foundation. Amidst his numerous activities, Divine is an alumnus of Colgate University, received his M.B.A. from New York University, and his PhD in Global Leadership and Change at Pepperdine University.
