Michael Breed

Michael Breed is a professional golf instructor, television host, and notable author. He gained recognition as a host for "The Golf Fix" on the Golf Channel in 2008 and currently hosts "Course Record with Michael Breed" on CBS, as well as contributing regularly to CBS Sports HQ. In addition, Breed hosts "A New Breed of Golf" on Sirius XM PGA Tour Radio and "The Best of A New Breed of Golf" on the weekends.

Breed was selected as a Top 100 Instructor in America by Golf Magazine in 2003 and was voted one of the Top 50 Instructors in America by Golf Digest in 2011. These accolades were further amplified when he was chosen as the PGA's National Teacher of the Year in 2012. Furthermore, he has served on various boards for the Metropolitan PGA for over 10 years and has consistently represented the PGA of America at the National Golf Day in Washington, D.C., since 2012.

Alongside his teaching and hosting duties, Breed has authored multiple instructional books. His first book "Picture Perfect Golf Swing: The Complete Guide to Golf Swing Video Analysis" was published in 2008, followed by his second instructional book, "The 3-Degree Putting Solution," in 2011. He also released the video series "Effect to Cause" in 2014. Breed's instructional materials have found their audience not only among golf enthusiasts but also amongst professionals on the PGA Tour, Web.com Tour, LPGA Tour, and mini tours.

In addition to his professional achievements, Breed is actively involved in several charitable causes. These include The First Tee, Folds of Honor, Hope for the Warriors, Wounded Warriors Foundation, and Salute Military Golf Association. Currently, he also holds the position of Chief Digital Instructor for Golf Digest and oversees the "Golf Digest Best Young Teachers" program. Breed was ranked as the top instructor in New York State by Golf Digest. He resides in Connecticut with his wife and two children.
