Michelle Marciniak

Michelle Marciniak is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of SHEEX, Inc., the world's first performance fabric bedding company with globally patented technology. Inspired by the feel and breathability of athletic performance fabrics, Marciniak and Co-Founder Susan Walvius shook up the bedding world in 2007 by inventing a whole new “Performance Home” category in home textiles. In 2012, they were recognized by Ernst & Young as "Winning Women", a prestigious honor celebrating the top female entrepreneurs in America. SHEEX has earned the distinction of being certified as a woman-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

Given her entrepreneurial skills and background as a Final Four MVP at the University of Tennessee and a standout in the WNBA, Marciniak has become a highly sought-after speaker and panelist. She serves on the Board of the Pat Summitt Foundation and voluntarily performed many of Summitt’s speaking engagements while her former coach battled early onset dementia, Alzheimer’s type.

Marciniak is the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of Pedal for Alzheimer's, LTD. a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable platform committed to organizing cycling events to raise money, provide education and increase awareness surrounding the mission of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s. In 2017, she served as Co-Chair of "Pedal for Pat" a 1,098 mile cycling event which raised funds on behalf of the Pat Summit Foundation for the Pat Summit Alzheimer’s Clinic at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Marciniak also serves as an Advisory Board member of EY’s Women Athletes Business Network, and is a member of the 2014 Class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute, which seeks to develop the next generation of community-spirited leaders.
