Mike Sievert

Mike Sievert is the CEO, President and Chairman of the Board of T-Mobile US, Inc. where he leads a customer-centric team comprising tens of thousands of employees who are transforming a stagnant industry. Their mission: to prioritize the customer experience and become the global leader in connecting customers with their world.

Sievert became CEO in April 2020 after serving as its president, chief operating officer and chief marketing officer. Under his leadership, T-Mobile has launched several key initiatives aimed at transforming the wireless industry and enhancing customer experience. He spearheaded the successful merger with Sprint, significantly expanding T-Mobile's network coverage and capacity. Sievert has been a driving force behind T-Mobile's commitment to 5G technology, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation. Additionally, he has prioritized customer-focused programs, such as T-Mobile's "Un-carrier" moves, which focus on eliminating customer pain points and delivering greater value. His initiatives have positioned T-Mobile as a competitive leader in the telecommunications sector.

CNN Business recognized Sievert as CEO of the Year in 2022, and Yale University presented him with the Legend in Leadership Award in 2024, in part due to the impact of initiatives such as T-Mobile's Project 10Million, which provides free internet access to millions of underserved students in the United States, and Connecting Heroes, a program designed to provide free wireless service to first responders across the nation.

Prior to joining T-Mobile in 2012, Sievert held management, product and marketing leadership positions at Microsoft, AT&T, E*TRADE, IBM and Procter & Gamble. He is a member of the board of directors of Starbucks. Sievert earned his bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
