Milton Kotler

Milton Kotler has over forty years of professional experience in marketing strategy. He is President of Kotler Marketing Group, with offices in Washington DC, Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. The group specializes in strategic marketing, brand design, industrial and urban development, and investment attraction and acquisitions. Kotler has led strategic projects for major clients such as Ford Motors, SBC, JP Morgan, Michelin, IBM, and other Fortune 500 companies.

Kotler Marketing Group's Chinese clients include TCL, Skyworth Multimedia, China Resources Beer (CRC), Tsinghua Yuanxing Pharmaceuticals, Ping An Insurance, Kingdee Software, Shanghai General Motors (SGM), Hai He Riverfront Redevelopment Commission (Tianjin), and many others across various sectors. Kotler has been active in China for seven years, significantly enhancing marketing strategies and strategic investments for both Chinese and multinational companies. He serves as an economic advisor to the mayors of Xian, Dalian, and Harbin.

Milton Kotler is the author of "A Clear-Sighted View of Chinese Business Strategy" and two earlier books in the U.S. on urban policy. He has delivered public seminars in over 40 Chinese cities and frequently contributes to Chinese business publications like 21st Century Business Review and China Business Review. He leads the Kotler/Remnin EMBA Program at Renmin University in Beijing and is a frequent guest speaker at U.S. graduate schools of business, discussing opportunities in China. Kotler resides in Washington, DC, and maintains a residence in Beijing, where he is actively involved in Sino-U.S. cultural exchange. He holds an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago and is a member of the National Committee on United States-China Relations and the University Club of Washington.
