NNeka Allen-Harrison

Dr. Nneka Allen-Harrison is a visionary educator, entrepreneur, and thought leader dedicated to empowering individuals to lead purposeful lives. As the co-founder of Leaders Innovators & Forward Thinkers of Tomorrow (LIFTT Inc.) and CEO of Summit Learning Institute, LLC, she has made significant strides in educational equity, authentic leadership, and community empowerment. Her extensive background as a former social service provider and family counselor enhances her ability to mentor leaders, schools, and community-based organizations effectively.

Dr. Allen-Harrison's influence extends to her role as a faculty member at Mills College, now Mills at Northeastern University, where she provides doctoral supervision and teaches courses focused on liberatory pedagogy and empowerment learning. Her research emphasizes the economic empowerment of the Black community and the development of collective consciousness. Her commitment to leading, loving, educating, and inspiring others is reflected in her writing and thought leadership.

She is the author of several impactful books: "How to Live Your Life on Purpose", "Reflections for the Soul: Cultivating Leadership in a World Hungry for Change", and "Self-Empowerment for Success Power Pak". These works offer valuable insights into living a purposeful life, cultivating leadership, and achieving personal empowerment, aligning with her broader mission of fostering innovation, equity, and purpose-driven leadership.

Dr. Allen-Harrison holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in Early Childhood from Mills College, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Clark-Atlanta University. Her diverse expertise and dedication continue to drive her efforts in education and community development.
