Nancy Ortberg

For eight years, Nancy Ortberg served as a teaching pastor at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois, where she led the Network ministry. This initiative helped various individuals within the church identify and utilize their spiritual gifts. She also spearheaded Axis, a weekly gathering designed for the eighteen to twenty-something generation.

Nancy Ortberg is a founding partner of Teamworx2, a business and leadership consulting firm that has provided services to organizations including Kaiser Permanente, Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union, Grupo Gallegos Advertising Agency, and Omnicell Corp. She has collaborated extensively with Patrick Lencioni, organizational business consultant and author of "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team," serving as one of his consulting partners. Her professional background also includes significant roles in hospital and healthcare administration from 1991 to 2003, where she focused on leadership and team development within large medical organizations.

Currently, Nancy Ortberg serves as the CEO of Transforming the Bay with Christ, an organization dedicated to catalyzing a holistic Gospel movement in the San Francisco Bay Area. She continues to engage audiences at major conferences such as Catalyst and Orange, sharing insights on leadership and corporate culture both internationally and domestically. Nancy is also an accomplished author, with titles such as "Looking for God: An Unexpected Journey through Tattoos, Tofu, & Pronouns" and "Unleashing the Power of Rubber Bands, Lessons in Non-Linear Leadership." She resides in Menlo Park, California, with her husband, John, and enjoys life as a parent to their three grown children.
