Nick Lewin

Nick Lewin began performing magic at age 11 in London, cultivating his sleight of hand skills at birthday parties in exchange for modest compensation. He pursued formal education in theater at the "Guildhall School of Music & Drama" in London before relocating to the United States in 1974 to expand his performance horizons. He initially performed at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, quickly gaining prominence in America's entertainment circles. Lewin has shared stages with notable personalities like Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr., Reba McEntire, and Kenny Rogers, and also performed for President Ronald Reagan. His one-man show in Las Vegas received critical acclaim and entertained audiences for nearly five years.

Using his distinctive dry British humor, Nick Lewin consistently delivers a 60-minute performance that captivates his audience from the onset. He masterfully blends sharp one-liners with classical magic techniques, offering an engaging mix of comedy, magic, and storytelling. His performances often extend beyond magic to include roles as a moderator and master of ceremonies, incorporating music and entertainment segments that enhance the overall experience.

Lewin is not only a seasoned performer but also a prolific writer and producer. He authored "Sleight of Crime," a collection of mystery stories published by Henry Regnery of Chicago, and produced and hosted "The Entertainment Files," a nationally syndicated radio show that combined celebrity interviews with movie reviews. He has appeared in numerous television shows such as "Dynasty," "Alfred Hitchcock Presents," and "Masters of Illusion." Besides his entertainment career, Lewin is a top corporate performer who has contributed to events for companies like Advanced Micro Devices, IBM, and General Electric, among others. Currently residing in Austin, Texas, he continues to write about the art of magic and is working on a sequel to his book while developing a unique speaker program for the corporate market.
