Nigel L. Walker Biography
Dr. Nigel L. Walker was one of eight children raised by a single mother in the public housing projects. He began writing at an early age, and published his first poetry book, "The Secret Diaries of Jean Batiste" in 2004. His follow-up, "Rose Petals for Josephine: The Secret Diaries Volume II" was released in 2007. He also published nonfiction books, "STRIVE for Greatness: Motivation in Your Own Image," and, "The Underground Philosophy of Education: Teaching is Not for Dummies."
Dr. Nigel L. Walker has developed a resume for public speaking through his community service and a desire to encourage others. His speaking is commonly centered on the power of education, using his inspiring story of going from humble beginnings to becoming a highly respected professional to encourage crowds of all ages; travelling from among elementary schools to colleges. He has also spoken on topics of poetry and writing, innovations in education, and community service.
