Nir Eyal

Nir Eyal is an Israeli-American bestselling author and an expert in what he calls "behavior design," a topic at the intersection of psychology, technology, and business. He specializes in behavioral engineering and has expertise in integrating neuroscience with business strategy to enhance consumer engagement and productivity.

Behavior design encompasses user experience, behavioral economics, and a dash of neuroscience. Eyal is the author of books including "Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products" and "Indistractable: How to Control Your Attention and Choose Your Life." He has developed a framework called the "Hooked Model" that intersects technology, psychology, and business to create habit-forming consumer products. Eyal also has a popular blog called "Nir and Far."

Eyal has taught marketing at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford. He is also the founder of two technology companies.
