Noah Lyles

Noah Lyles is a professional track and field sprinter who primarily competes in the 60-meter, 100-meter, and 200-meter events. His international recognition was notched by his bronze medal performance in the 200m at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He is a six-time World champion, having won the 200m and 4 x 100m at the 2019 World Championships, the 200m in 2022, and the 100m, 200m, and 4 x 100m events in 2023. In 2024, Lyles won an Olympic gold medal in the 100 meters and bronze in the 200m. He was the first man to complete the sprint treble at a World Championships since Usain Bolt in 2015.

His personal bests include a time of 9.784 seconds for the 100m set at the 2024 Olympic Games and 19.31 seconds for the 200m, which is not only an American record but also marks the third-fastest time in history. Lyles' longevity in the sport is reflected in his accomplishment of breaking 20 seconds in the 200m 37 times, more than any other athlete. He began his career by cinching a gold medal in the 200m at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games, which marked him as the youngest U.S. champion in the 100m since 1984.
