She currently serves as the Chairperson of the International Women Economic Council (IWEC). IWEC is the world’s first global portal to connect women with opportunities. Noor has advised Ministry of Labor, Government of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on increasing women in the workforce as well as IFC on investing in women business at MSME level.

Noor pursed a career in finance that included management of President of Pakistan’s FDI fund of US$ 49.6 billion; management of investment for Pakistan’s largest conglomerate Fauji Foundation and heading treasury and investments at the world’s first bank for women, First Women Bank. Noor also served as the market head for ACCA, Islamabad.

At the peak of her career, Noor left her prestigious job to start women based NGO, Shahina Aftab Foundation (SAF), during Pakistan floods of 2010 that affected 14 Million people. SAF was able to save 10,000 lives and put 300 flood-affected children to school. Noor was able to global recognition for SAF by representing Pakistan in thirteen global conferences including the United Nations conference on Rio+20.

Noor was conferred the Australian Alumni Excellence Award for Business Leadership as well as the Outstanding Women Achiever Award by Asia Pacific HRM Congress. She has given over 100 keynotes in Hong Kong, Geneva, Turkey, New York and Mumabi. She also gave a Tedx talk on breaking barriers.
