Olly Alexander

Olly is the lead singer of YEARS & YEARS – one of the biggest and most-loved pop bands in the world. The band has released 2 studio albums; Years & Years' most successful single, "King" released under Polydor, headed straight to number one in the UK Single Chart in March 2015, earning the band national recognition. Their debut studio album, Communion, was released on 10 July 2015 and entered the UK Albums Chart at number 1. Their most recent album, Palo Santo, has been met with critical acclaim. Olly has simultaneously emerged as one of the most culturally-important new voices, and a once-in-a-generation frontman.

His brave, unwavering and inspiring open-mindedness has helped a generation start important discussions around mental health and LGBTQ+ issues. Olly is also an established actor; his credits include The Riot Club, Skins and The Fades. Olly was most recently seen playing the lead in Russell T. Davies's highly acclaimed series It’s A Sin for Channel 4; a 1980s-set drama about the AIDS epidemic. Olly also created and produced the short film ‘Palo Santo‘. Other film and television credits include God Help the Girl, Gulliver's Travels, and Penny Dreadful. The Yorkshire-born entertainer's acting career began in the film Summerhill released in 2008. His next film Bright Star was nominated for an Academy Award. Alexander starred as Peter Pan in the West End play Peter and Alice acting alongside Ben Whishaw and Judi Dench.
