Pat Venditti Biography
Pat Venditti has been an active environmental campaigner and defender of the world’s forests for the past 15 years.
Since 2004 he has been responsible for the development and execution of a number of Greenpeace’s most successful forest campaigns. These include highly visible campaigns against some of the world’s biggest corporations including McDonald’s, Nestle, and Mattel.
Commitments made as a result of these campaigns have directly led to positive changes for the world’s rainforests, including sectoral agreements to halt the illegal destruction of the Amazon rainforest for soya crops and cattle ranching, and a commitment from Indonesian palm oil producer Golden Agri Resources to end deforestation in their operations. He recently stepped down as the Forest Campaign Director at Greenpeace International to act as a Senior Campaigner.
He lives in London with his wife and two children, who both want to visit the rainforest.
