Paul Collier

Sir Paul Collier, CBE, FBA is a British development economist who has made significant contributions to his field through both academia and policy advisory roles. Throughout his career, Collier has served as a key advisor to various international organizations, including the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the United Nations.

He holds a distinguished position as the Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford and also serves as the co-Director of the International Growth Centre. His expertise and knowledge have been sought after in various capacities, notably as a senior advisor to the Blair Commission for Africa and the Director of the Development Research Group at the World Bank.
