Paul Rosenberg Biography
Paul Rosenberg is a music manager, the current CEO of Goliath Records, and the former chairman and CEO of Def Jam Recordings. Rosenberg is best known for his association with hip hop artists Eminem, The Knux, DJ AM, Action Bronson, and pop-punk band Blink-182.
Along with Eminem, Rosenberg is a founder of Shady Records, which was founded in 1999. Rosenberg first started working with Eminem back in 1997 during the recording of the Slim Shady EP, and Rosenberg is still Eminem's manager today.
In January 2018, Rosenberg became the chairman and CEO of Def Jam Recordings, one of hip-hop's most iconic record labels. Rosenberg would hold that position until February of 2020 when he announced that he would be stepping down to work on a joint venture with Universal Music Group (UMG) called Goliath Records.
