Paul Tiffany

Paul Tiffany has been a Senior Lecturer at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where he has taught for over 25 years. His course offerings include competitive strategy, business and public policy, international management, and business and economic history. Tiffany also serves as a Visiting Professor at various international institutions such as SASIN in Thailand, AVT Business School in Denmark, the University of Geneva in Switzerland, and the Cezanne School of Business in France. His past academic roles have included positions at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, the Wharton School, and CEIBS in Shanghai.

Prior to his academic career, Tiffany worked as a consultant and held various other roles. He leads Paul Tiffany & Associates, a consulting and training organization based in Northern California, providing services to a diverse range of clients including Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, and Coca-Cola. His professional experience also includes positions as an organizational analyst for a large public services agency and as an assistant to the president of a major national financial services firm.

Tiffany is an accomplished author, with books such as "The Decline of American Steel" and "Business Plans for Dummies." The latter was a finalist in the Booz Allen/Financial Times "Best Business Book of the Year" award for 1998. His research has been published in various academic journals, and he has received multiple awards for both his research and teaching, including the Anvil Award, the Lindback Award, and the Cheit Award. He is a frequent keynote speaker on topics related to business, economics, and strategy, and has provided expert commentary on television, radio, and in print.
