Paula Dowdy

Paula Dowdy leads Illumina’s Commercial Operations for EMEA. Since joining in August 2016, Paula has reorganised the business, identified new markets, and returned the region to sustainable growth. She was also part of the senior team behind the launch of Illumina’s new sequencing system, NovaSeqTM. Previously, Paula held numerous key senior positions, successfully leading Cisco product, software and services groups for virtually all customer segments. During her 20 years at Cisco she has worked in the US, UK and EMEA. In her most recent role, Paula led Cisco’s go-to-market team for Cloud, Software, and Managed Services where she drove the incubation of innovative new solutions.

I am Illumina's GM and SVP for EMEA. Responsible for our commercial operations across the region. Illumina has the vision to be the leading provider of integrated solutions that advance the understanding of genetics and health. The goal is to improve human health by enabling customers to accelerate the collection, analysis, and application of biological information.
