Peter H. Reynolds

Peter H. Reynolds is a Canadian-born author, illustrator, and educator renowned for his children's books that celebrate creativity and self-expression. Born in 1961 alongside his identical twin brother, Paul, in Toronto, Canada, Reynolds has made significant contributions to children's literature and educational media.

Reynolds is best known for his "Creatrilogy" series, which includes “The Dot,” “Ish,” and “Sky Color.” These books encourage readers to embrace their creativity and have been translated into multiple languages. “The Dot” has inspired International Dot Day, celebrated annually around September 15th, promoting creativity and courage among students and educators worldwide.

In addition to his own works, Reynolds has illustrated popular series such as Megan McDonald's “Judy Moody” and “Stink” books. He has also collaborated with his brother Paul on titles like “Going Places” and “Full STEAM Ahead.”
