Phaedra Parks

Phaedra Parks is a multifaceted professional encompassing roles as a television personality, attorney, activist, businesswoman, author, actress, and mortician. Parks owns a legal firm, The Parks Group P.C., which has allowed her to develop into a skilled businesswoman and philanthropist. She has also been named Attorney of the Year for her legal contributions. Her career features weekly appearances on major networks and television programming, including notable roles as a legal analyst for NBC and Fox News during the Michael Jackson trial, Entertainment Tonight, Celebrity Justice, EXTRA, Court TV, and various local news outlets.

Throughout her career, Parks has been a prominent figure on multiple television shows. She made her acting debut in the series "Covenant" in 2021; however, she is best known for her appearance on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" from 2010 until 2017, and she rejoined the cast in 2024 for the sixteenth season. In 2023, she joined the tenth season of "Married to Medicine" and made appearances on BET's "The Tiny and Toya Show" as a television producer. Parks starred in the second season of "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip" on Peacock in 2022 and will return for its upcoming season. In addition, she was a contestant on Peacock's second season of "The Traitors" and the 33rd season of "Dancing with the Stars."

In 2013, she ventured into the literary world, releasing her first book, "Secrets of the Southern Belle: How to Be Nice, Work Hard, Look Pretty, Have Fun and Never Have an Off Moment". Parks' work and insights have also been featured in numerous media publications such as Rolling Out, JET, the L.A. Focus, The Boston Herald, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and The New York Times. She frequently offers her legal expertise on public issues while serving as a featured guest speaker on broadcasts for Atlanta's Hot 107.9, V-103, Newstalk 680, and WAOK.

A recipient of the Atlanta Business League's Top Women of Influence honor, Parks is a member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2009 and the Outstanding Atlantan 2008 class. Rolling Out Magazine also recognized her as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women. In 2006, she was credited in the Who's Who Among Accountants & Lawyers edition in The Atlanta Business Chronicles. The following year, she was recognized as a Georgia Rising Star Super Lawyer in Atlanta Magazine and featured as the cover story for Georgia Rising Stars Super Lawyers magazine.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Parks is heavily invested in community service and philanthropy. She is a past President of the Gate City Bar Association and actively participates on the boards for the Junior League of Atlanta, Atlanta Children's Shelter, the American Bar Association's Advisory Board, the Ryan Cameron Foundation, the University of Georgia's Donald L. Hollowell Professorship Endorsement Committee, and the University of Georgia's Law School Alumni Counsel. She remains a philanthropic partner with Cool Girls and Jane Fonda's Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (G-CAPP).
