Phillip Campbell

Phillip Campbell, a well-rounded author and educator, earned his BA in European History from Ave Maria University and holds a secondary education license from Madonna University. He has utilized his academic prowess in his role as a history and economics instructor for Homeschool Connections and as the creator of the YouTube program "History in a Minute." Mr. Campbell also served Mayor of Howell, Michigan from 2011 to 2015, the youngest individual to ever hold this office. His hometown roots run deep, having been raised and educated in Howell, and he continues to contribute to local politics through his involvement in the city's Planning Commission and Downtown Development Authority.

Mr. Campbell authored the "Story of Civilization" series from TAN Books, "Heroes and Heretics of the Reformation" (TAN), and several self-published works through his website, Cruachan Hill Press. His writings have been published in the St. Austin Review and the Distributist Review, as well as involved with projects within Arx Publishing, the Catholic Textbook Project, and Ave Maria Press. He is the founder of the Penmoot Society, a writing club for teenage boys, and Cruachan Hill Press, an independent publishing house that specializes in "Catholic books for nerdy intellectuals."

Mr. Campbell also hosts the Catholic variety program "Faith Matters with Phillip Campbell" on Good Shepherd Catholic Radio and regularly speaks at homeschool conferences across the United States. He resides in southern Michigan with his children.
