Piers Morgan is widely recognized for his roles in television, from judging on "America's Got Talent" for NBC to hosting the popular interview program "Piers Morgan's Life Stories" on ITV. His career also boasts significant achievements in journalism, notably as the former editor of prominent British tabloids the News of the World and the Daily Mirror. Morgan is currently engaging audiences globally with his primetime interview show, "Piers Morgan Live," on CNN.

Morgan embarked on his media career as a reporter for The Wimbledon News before becoming a columnist at The Sun, where he was de facto editor of the show business column, Bizarre. His editorial acumen caught the attention of Rupert Murdoch, who, in 1994, appointed him editor of the News of the World, making him the youngest national newspaper editor in over fifty years. He later moved to the Daily Mirror, serving as editor-in-chief from 1995 until 2004. During his tenure, the newspaper won several awards, including Newspaper of the Year at the British Press Awards in 2002 for its coverage of the 9/11 attacks. After a high-profile departure from the Mirror, Morgan expanded his career into television and authored best-selling books.

In television, Morgan has been a judge on "Britain's Got Talent" alongside Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden, and presented various documentary and interview series such as "The Importance of Being Famous" and "You Can't Fire Me, I’m Famous" on the BBC.
