For over two decades, Raine Maida has been a dynamic force at the intersection of music, technology, and humanitarianism. As the frontman of the multi-platinum alt-rock band OurLadyPeace, he has earned five Juno Awards and contributed his songwriting and production talents to a diverse array of globally recognized artists, from Carrie Underwood to Avril Lavigne.

With a bold approach informed by deep industry expertise, Maida has spent the last 15 years pioneering technological solutions to support creators in the digital era and beyond. Whether developing SaaS Geo-marketing tools, Live Streaming platforms, or exploring the potential of Blockchain and Web 3.0, he applies the same innovative mindset that fuels his music.

Maida serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of Drops.xyz, an innovative Live Event activation platform empowering artists to cultivate their own communities. Previously, he held key roles such as Chief Product Officer and EVP at S!NG Market, a pioneering Blockchain company based. In 2020, he founded JujuLive, a groundbreaking live-streaming platform, and earlier, he launched Recordmob, a cutting-edge video app celebrating counterculture.

At the heart of Maida's endeavors lies a steadfast dedication to vigilance, consciousness, and awareness. His commitment to social impact has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Tiffany Mark award and The Allen Slaight Humanitarian Juno Award. In 2016, he was honored with appointment to The Order of Canada.

Maida is also a cofounder and director at LOOP/POOL, a Canadian artist collective and social-forward cannabis brand that gives a portion of sales to back to emerging artists.
