Reggie Brown

Reggie Brown was born in a working-class neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. After attending the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, where he pursued a degree in advertising, Brown moved back to Chicago and honed his skills in acting and voiceover techniques at the Acting Studios Chicago. He worked as a contributing voice for Fearless Radio, was the host of Akira TV for the fashion-forward Chicago retailer, and emceed fashion events and runway shows at some of the most prestigious venues in Chicago.

In September 2008, Brown took home a Chicago/Midwest Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Alternate Media/New Media Activity as a contributing member of the NBC 5 Street Team. His role in media and public performance expanded further when he began his career as a Barack Obama impersonator. People had long noted his resemblance to Obama, even before Obama announced his bid to become a state senator. On the night of November 4, 2008, when Obama was elected president, Brown’s career took a significant turn. He grabbed his megaphone and headed to Grant Park, performing his impression to a large crowd during the President's acceptance speech.

Today, Brown is celebrated as the world's #1 Barack Obama impersonator, a title underscored by his appearances on prominent shows such as HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher," FOX NEWS' "Huckabee," ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," and Comedy Central's "Workaholics." He has also been featured in "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Lopez Tonight," and "Hannah Montana." His performance at the Republican Leadership Conference in 2011, which was televised nationally on C-SPAN, further cemented his reputation. Brown is also recognized for his keynote program titled "How I Became The President of The United States" and his commitment to charity work is evident from his involvement in events supporting Pediatric Oncology at Johns Hopkins and Ability First. Brown continues to receive accolades for his performances, combining good-natured humor with sharp political insights, and is based in California.
