Richard Leider

Richard Leider is an executive coach and keynote speaker renowned as a pioneer of the global purpose movement. He has written twelve books, including "The Inventurers," "Life Skills," "Repacking Your Bags," "Whistle While You Work," and his international bestsellers "The Power of Purpose," "Life Reimagined," and "Repacking Your Bags," which have sold over one million copies and been translated into 20 languages. His PBS Special – "The Power of Purpose" – has significantly impacted viewers across the U.S., and the book's fourth edition is considered a classic in the personal growth field.

Leider is the founder of Inventure – The Purpose Company, dedicated to guiding individuals to live, work, and lead with purpose. He has also held the role of a contributing columnist to Fast Company's website and featured as a speaker at their RealTime Live events. A Certified Master Career Counselor, he completed a master's degree in counseling at the University of Northern Colorado and holds certifications as a National Certified Counselor and a National Certified Master Career Counselor. His educational and professional accomplishments have earned him recognition from Forbes as one of the "Top 5" respected coaches and numerous awards like the Bush Fellowship and the Jules Kerlan Outstanding Achievement Award from the Minnesota Career Development Association.

Aside from his professional endeavors, Leider is a Senior Fellow at the University of Minnesota’s Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing, and an Education Fellow with the Retirement Income Institute. An enthusiastic advocate for lifelong learning and growth, he has led over 30 years of Inventure Expedition walking safaris in East Africa and serves as a board member of the Dorobo Fund for Tanzania, promoting village conservation and youth leadership.
