Robert Jackson

Robert Jackson began his career after being cut from the NFL Minnesota Vikings in 1995, initially working in the Indianapolis Public Schools. Over the years, he has emerged as a prominent educational consultant and author, specializing in cultural diversity, restorative practices, socio-emotional learning, and the education of Black and Latino males. His insights have made him one of the most sought-after speakers on these topics nationally and internationally.

Jackson has authored six books including "Becoming the Educator They Need: Strategies, Mindsets, and Beliefs for Supporting Male Black and Latino Students," which received the Gold Excel Award for Technical Writing in 2020. His educational materials, notably the "No More Excuses" Curriculum, are utilized in K-12 schools, colleges, and universities across the U.S. and Canada, reflecting his significant impact on educational practices.

In addition to his writing and consulting work, Jackson is an active participant in the educational community, delivering keynote speeches and conducting workshops at major national conferences such as ASCD, ESEA, CAAASA, NABSE, SREB, Innovative Schools Summit, AMLE, and AASA. His contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including the NOBLE Justice by Action Youth Award, the Key to the City of Miami, Florida, and the National Motivational Educator of the Year Award by the Alpha Foundation. Jackson is also a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., and the NFL Players Association. His work continues to motivate and inspire educational staff across a broad spectrum, from leadership to support roles, furthering his commitment to effective education and community service.
