Ryan Crane is an entrepreneur and advocate for cannabis, with an extensive background in CPG startups and institutional finance. He is the Founder and CEO of Tempo, a Chicago-based brand that creates cannabinoid-infused beverages with a modern better-for-you twist. Tempo's signature product line features a carefully curated blend of CBD and all-natural superfoods.
Ryan has spoken widely on cannabis and food trends at events and conferences throughout the US. His companies have also been featured in Cheddar, Marijuana Business Magazine, Cannabis Brightline, Chicago Ideas Week, Forbes, American Inno, and New Hope Network, among others.
In 2019, Ryan delivered a TED talk focusing on the therapeutic side of cannabis, titled "Re-Thinking Cannabis: the Therapeutic Potential of CBD”, at TEDxChicago.
Ryan received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (honors), and BA in Psychology / Neuroscience from Princeton University (magna cum laude). Ryan is also a CFA charter holder.
