Sarah Scott

Sarah Scott helps create safe workspaces on film and TV sets while enabling a highly creative atmosphere for intimate scene work. She advocates for actors by obtaining consent, gauging actor’s needs on an ongoing basis, providing clarity of riders, and ensuring closed set protocol. Her extensive experience on set as an actress and dancer enable her ability to provide grounded emotional support for performers and bring heightened believability to choreography relating to intimate scenes. Sarah is a certified intimacy coordinator through Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA) under the direction of Amanda Blumenthal. Recently intimacy coordinator credits include season’s one and two of HBO’s Hacks and Winning Time, Good Girls on NBC, and Netflix’s You People, From Scratch, and the upcoming films Lonely Planet and the Rebel Moon series.

Sarah graduated from New York University’s School of Education with a B.S. in Culture and Communications and a minor in Ballet. As a member of the TIME’S UP Entertainment Working Group she contributed to the recently launched Guide To Working in the Entertainment Industry and is a passionate ambassador to Voices in Action. Sarah served as an elected Convention Delegate at the last SAG-AFTRA National Convention in 2019, is a member of the Women’s Committee and Vice-Co Chair of the first ever LA Local Sexual Harassment Committee.

Sarah’s experience working in dance, theatre, and on set of film and television inform her sensitivity and methodology as an intimacy coordinator. A professional actor in Los Angeles for nearly two decades, Sarah has amassed a varied body of work having appeared on all major networks in national commercials and guest starring on shows such as ABC’s Castle, HBO’s True Blood, SHOWTIME’S Masters of Sex, and FOX’s The Orville. Recent independent feature credits include her portrayal of Courtney Love in Soaked In Bleach, and as the lead of Desperate Waters, a thriller that garnered her three Best Actress Awards at film festivals in 2020.
