Sarah Ward

Sarah Ward is the Co-Director of Cognitive Connections, LLP, and has built a career spanning over 25 years in diagnostic evaluations, treatment, and case management of individuals with developmental and acquired brain-based learning difficulties and behavioral problems. As a licensed speech and language pathologist for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Ward has a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of executive function deficits. Furthermore, she holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Ward's professional journey is marked by her significant contributions to the field. As an adjunct faculty member at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, she has influenced many aspiring professionals. An internationally recognized expert on executive function skills, Ward has co-authored the 360 Thinking Executive program and co-developed numerous educational products. This program earned her the Innovative Promising Practices Award from the National Organization CHADD.

Her professional recognition extends far and wide. Ward has been awarded multiple ACE awards from the American Speech and Language Hearing Association, and she received the Bette Ann Harris Distinguished Professional Award in 2017. In 2002 and 2011, the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions honored her with the Faculty in Excellence Award. Furthermore, she has consulted with over 1800 public and private schools worldwide, sharing her expertise and passion for her field.
