Segun Oduolowu Biography
Segun Oduolowu is a longtime television host, Oduolowu is the host of the Boston Globe Today a new daily newscast in collaboration with the Boston Globe and NESN. Before that, he was the NYC Correspondent for PEOPLE Magazine, The TV Show. Previously he was host of the syndicated newsmagazine, The List, has appeared regularly on Access Hollywood Live and The Wendy Williams Show and has contributed to international programs for CNN, the BBC and Deutsche Welle. He also was a regular guest and contributor to the long-running HLN series Dr. Drew on Call.
When the bright lights turn off, Oduolowu is an educator and mentor. He was a former high school English teacher and has tutored and worked with some of the brightest "Young-Stars" in Southern California. His former pupils can be found in the top Universities throughout the United States. As a mentor Oduolowu has used his background as a former collegiate basketball player at the University of Houston, to craft his "Work Smarter not Harder" initiative. In a partnership with the Aim High Foundation of Southern California, and it's creator 2 - time NBA champion Kenny Smith, he has coached over a dozen "Young-Stars" to Division I basketball scholarships.
