Simon Anderson

Simon J. Anderson is known as an international futurist, keynote speaker, and applied foresight expert. He co-authored the 2014 Bellwether Award-winning book "Foresight 20/20: A Futurist Explores the Trends Transforming Tomorrow" with fellow global futurist Jack Uldrich and recently published the award-winning "Foresight 2020: A Futurist Explores the Trends Transforming Tomorrow." Anderson specializes in helping leaders and organizations become "Future Ready" by recognizing and capitalizing on emerging technologies and trends.

Anderson’s expertise extends to advising technology startups and a multinational education non-profit, contributing to his insights on the rapid changes across global markets. He has traveled to more than 35 countries, enriching his global perspective, critical for organizations looking to adapt and thrive in diverse environments. His insights have been featured in notable publications including CityWire’s New Model Adviser, Commercial Factor, Crain’s Business News, and Executive Connections.

In addition to his work, Anderson founded Venture Foresight, a company dedicated to helping leaders recognize opportunities in emerging technologies and trends. Simon graduated in 2010 from Florida State University, College of Business, where he double majored in finance and multinational business operations. He also brings a decade of experience from the telecom industry, contributing to his comprehensive understanding of tech-driven business landscapes. Simon and his wife Helena Cruz Sanchez currently reside in Minneapolis, MN.
