Sofia Dickens

Sofia Dickens is an educational specialist and television personality who began thinking about a parenting strategy for her kids based on a fascination she had developed with emotional intelligence 10 years earlier while she was at Harvard. She spent the better part of a decade as a television host in educational media. Her career began traveling the world as a video correspondent on the award winning quiz show, "Jeopardy!"

As the anchor of Channel One News, the nation’s largest news source for youth, and a host of Tru TV’s Hollywood Heat, Dickens covered the front lines of American politics, international news, red carpet entertainment and sports. Now as a mother of three, Dickens is working on testing the innovative products and concepts she developed with parents and kids all over the country. EQtainment’s collective group of board games, toys, books, mobile apps and videos are sold at Target and focus on improving kids social skills and behavior for school readiness and life success.
