Spin Doctors

The Spin Doctors, an American alternative rock band from New York City, originated in 1988 and consists of members Chris Barron (lead vocals), Eric Schenkman (guitar and vocals), and Aaron Comess (drums, bass, and keyboards). They gained worldwide recognition for their hits "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong." Their debut studio album, "Pocket Full of Kryptonite," released in 1991, went Triple Platinum and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. They have been signed to renowned labels such as Epic, Uptown, and Atlantic.

The band's journey has been marked by both success and challenges. During the recording of their album "Here Comes the Bride" in 1999, Mark White left the band. The same period saw Chris Barron, the lead vocalist, lose his voice due to a rare acute form of vocal cord paralysis during the tour supporting the album. However, Barron's voice returned in early 2000, and the band reunited in September 2001 with the original four members. This comeback led to the release of their new studio album, "Nice Talking to Me," in 2005.

Spin Doctors have continued their musical journey, celebrating the 20-year anniversary of their album "Pocket Full of Kryptonite" with a UK and US tour in 2011. In April 2013, they released their sixth studio album, "If the River Was Whiskey." Their single "Can't Kick the Habit" featured on the soundtrack of the movie "Grandma's Boy." With their albums selling over ten million copies worldwide, they have left an indelible mark on the global music scene. Their performances on shows like "Saturday Night Live" and "Sesame Street," along with their contribution to the television show "Spin City's" theme song, demonstrates their versatility and wide-reaching impact.
